Package: mozplugger
Version: 1.6.0-1
Severity: wishlist
Since the plugin is installed directly in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, all
mozilla users have to use it. It would be nice if the plugin was
installed elsewhere, and a question was asked at installation, whether
the installation should be site-wide or not. If not, users may symlink
the plugin in their own .mozilla/plugins directory if they want to use
it.
This is a general remark on debian mozilla plugins. emacs "plugins" are
treated in a more clever way I believe (I installed proofgeneral today,
and it asked the question I am suggesting).
If all plugins were treated the way I suggest, there could be a use for
a program that helps users install (that is, symlink) the plugins they
are interested in (eather a script or an alternative version of
libnullplugin.so).
If you know a better place for this remark, please forward it.
Thank you.

I am quite comfortable closing this.
Every browser allows users to enable/disable each single plugin.
