So it requires both libpng2 and libpng3? The above situation
causes a display problem for me in that png icons no longer
show e.g in my dock. As always I'm not sure if it is actually a
bug or me having fouled up somehow but I thought I should
report it.

Hello,
with 0.90.0-1 libwraster2 was replaced by libwraster3 and wmaker
started depending on libwraster3. This dependency change has the same
effect as versioning the dependency on libwraster2, it also pulls in a
new enough version of libwraster. Closing.
