Subject: Bug #325076 Fixed!
I recently sent in a presumed bug for the package blootbot that was
unresolved. I updated my system today and I saw that libc6 was one of
the packages being updated too so seen as I broke my system last time
trying to get blootbot working and having done a fresh install and
blootbot still refusing to start properly I knew it wasn't perl but
libc6 so I reinstalled blootbot and lo and behold it works.
