Package: nvidia-glx-legacy-173xx
Version: 173.14.25-2
Severity: important
xserver-xorg 1.7 hangs when restarted using version 173.14.25 of this binary
driver.
This problem can be reproduced, for example if you have to users on the
computer in question and one leaves is logged in but away. The other user comes
and decides to switch users to log with his account. Now after the 2nd user is
done he decides to log out. Unfortunately gdm never comes back up and trying to
change to other VT's doesn't work.
The problem has been identified and apparently corrected in version 173.14.27
of this driver
(http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-display-ia32-173.14.27-driver.html).
Currently only in sid. Please allow the migration to squeeze.

Thanks for the good news. Tagging and closing the report now, so there
is one more bug fixed in the version in unstable compared to the one in
squeeze.
