Package: libcairo2
Version: 1.8.10-5
Severity: normal

When using roxterm or gnome-terminal with libcairo2 1.8.10-5, after
a short time the text doesn't display immediately when typing it
anymore, it somewhat leaves the impression that I'm typing through ssh
with a dial-up connection. This also happens when scrolling with the
mouse, the screen is not updated smoothly.

This happens only with version 1.8.10-5 of libcairo2, I downgraded to
1.8.10-4 and this does not happen with that version.

I'm not able to tell exactly how to reproduce this: when I launch
a terminal and type something in it there seems to be no problem at
first, then I open a few more terminals, launch one or two programs and
suddenly the terminals are lagging behind. However I downgraded to
1.8.10-4, then upgraded again to 1.8.10-5, then downgraded again to
1.8.10-4, without modifying anything else, so I'm quite certain that
this comes from libcairo2 1.8.10-5.

Apparently this was the same as #594245 which has been fixed in the last
upload.
