Package: mydms
Version: 1.7.0-1
Severity: normal

When the config dialogs came up prompting for database information, I
provided information for a remote database. Upon launching mydms for
the first time, I received php errors about not being able to connect
to localhost.

After digging, I found that to fix it I needed to add the line

$settings->_dbHostname=$dbserver

at the end of /usr/share/mydms/www/inc/inc.Settings.php

I am using the default mysql port so everything works after that; a
non-standard port specified in the /etc/mydms/debian-db.php file would
likely not work either. I did not explicitly test this however.

It appears that the versions in testing/unstable are affected in the
same way.
