Package: debian-goodies
Version: 0.27+etch1
Severity: minor
It would be nice if checkrestart didn't think that the absence of
/var/run/apache2/ssl_mutex required apache to be restarted.
Also, checkrestart can't find apache2-mpm-prefork's init script, but that's of
less concern.
Thanks,
Matt

Version: 0.36
Hi,
This bug was fixed in debian-goodies version 0.36:
* Exclude /var/run contents from the deleted files check which means
that apache2, when using mod_ssl should now not be reported
as needing a restart (Closes: 432569)
This version and fix will not make it to etch but will be available in the
next Debian release. You can, however, probably install the package
available in the 'testing' distribution in your etch system without any
issues.
Regards
Javier
