Hi,
The package 'git-core', which your package depends on, has been renamed
to 'git'. As git-core is now a transitional/dummy package, it has been
suggested [1] that packages depending on git-core should have their
dependencies updated accordingly.
To help the transition, please consider updating gitstats' dependency to
something like:
git (>= 1:1.7) | git-core (>= 1:1.5.2.4)
