Package: xrootconsole
Version: 1:0.3-5
Severity: normal
[normal -- workaround exists, but is ugly]
If I start xrootconsole in my .xsession, it'll display 2 lines. The
first is the version (xrootconsole-RELEASE-0_3), the second the only
line of log waiting in the pipe.
After that, it won't update, whatever I write to the log.
Everything works fine if I add a delay before starting xrootconsole (so
something gets logged BEFORE xrootconsole starts).

This seams to no longer occur on current version of xrootconsole, so I
close this bug.
This might be the bug fixed by upstream, quoting the NEWS file for reference:
| xrootconsole 0.5 30Jun2002
|
| * fixed bug where XMaskEvent() would block indefinitely, silently
| halting the program.
Feel free to reopen it if you still encounter the problem.
