Package: amoeba
Version: 1.1-19
Severity: wishlist

The bb demo < http://packages.debian.org/bb > installs to /usr/games,
as do most other software toys of similar sorts, AFAICT. amoeba seems
like it falls into that category, and perhaps should also install to
/usr/games and have its man page moved to section 6.

Hi,

I'm sorry I haven't responded earlier; I don't know how I missed this report.
In any case, I disagree, for two reasons:

 1. The demoscene traditionally does not want to be associated with gaming.
(I don't know why bb is an exception here.)
 2. /usr/games is a legacy path which will in the long run go away, just as
    at some point /usr/X11R6/bin did.

Thus, I'm closing this bug. Thanks for the suggestion, though :-)
