If I set number of CPUs to higher than 2, then a Windows 7 guest will only see
2.
Reason is that virt-manager invokes kvm like this:
-smp 4,sockets=4,cores=1,threads=1. Since Windows has a limit of 2 sockets thats
not right.
This works:
-smp 4,sockets=2,cores=2,threads=1
virt-manager should have a way to specify CPU topology (or at least "do the
right thing" for -smp > 2 and not set sockets higher than 2 for Windows).
