Hi,
I'm experimenting with ibritish/iamerican packages and trying to use
ispell-autobuildhash for them. I modified the packages to install
munchlist'ed wordlist in /usr/share/ispell and affixes in /usr/lib/ispell
and then added the aproporiate `auto-hash' entries to '*.info-ispell' files,.
While tesing the generated packages I've found two issues, and this bug
is about the first of them:
The /usr/lib/ispell/$dict.hash to /var/lib/ispell/$dict.hash
symlinks were missing so while installing the package and selecting
it as the default dictionary I got the following error:
When trying to make the default link to a ispell dictionary
the file to link [/usr/lib/ispell/british.hash] was not found. Please
report this as a bug to the
maintainer of the ispell dictionary package you tried to install
The message was right - I had forgotten to add the symlinks into
package. However in my opinion it would be nice if installdeb-ispell
would automatically add such symlinks in its `auto-hash' mode during the
package build.
