I'm not sure whether this should be considered a 'bug' at all, so feel
free to downgrade it if you like.
The 990119 version of xrootconsole would refresh the background whenever
it handled an expose event or whenever it displays a new line. The current
version doesn't seem to refresh the background at all, ever.
This has the effect of leaving xrootconsole stuck with whatever background
image was there when it was started... if you change the background after
starting xrootconsole, it will still have a swatch of the previous background
as its "transparency". Also, on my system, WindowMaker doesn't get around to
setting the background image until after xrootconsole has already started,
which means I get an ugly monochrome stipple instead of a nice transparent
background.
