Package: planetpenguin-racer
Version: 0.3.1-2
Severity: normal
File: /usr/games/ppracer
I have two Debian Unstable x86 machines. Both have nVidia cards and
nVidia drivers, One of them starts of showing the view from behind Tux
looking towards where he is going. However, as he heads towards the
starting line, the perspective switches to from in front of tux looking
back (looking where tux has been from where he is going).
Here are some details from the box that doesn't work.
(II) Module glx: vendor="NVIDIA Corporation"
compiled for 4.0.2, module version = 1.0.7174
Module class: XFree86 Server Extension
ABI class: XFree86 Server Extension, version 0.1
The other (older) box runs an older version of the nVidia drivers and
a 2.4.22 kernel works fine (i.e., has the right point of view).
tuxracer didn't have this trouble on this box.
