I have several "unauthorized" (i.e., authorization pending) contacts on
my ICQ list which I have learned are out of date (and no authorization
will ever come for them). However, every time I sign in gaim asks me for
authorization, even though I've deleted these contacts multiple times.
This happens, I believe, because I have multiple computers which run
gaim (at home and at work), and apparently the status of these contacts
isn't being properly fetched from the server each time. I originally
added the contacts from home, then went to work where they were asked
about again; ever since then I've been trying to remove them to no
avail.
