Severity: important
When running the following command
grub-probe --target=device /
it returns the correct result, but produces a floating point exception
afterwards. This has as a consequence that I cannot install any new
kernels any more. Going back to the former version (1.96+20080724-16)
fixes the problem.

In other words a rescan happened after some subsystems were finalised.
In particular lvm_fini was called after mdraid_fini. I've checked and
it's no longer the case. Closing
