Package: nagios-plugins
Version: 1.4.15-3
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
Please include both 'check_ipmi_sensor' scripts (v1.x and v2.x) in the
package nagios-plugins-basic or nagios-plugins-standard. It would be
nice to have both of them but v1.x depends on 'ipmitool' and v2.x
depends on freeipmi-tools so the plugin should depend on them.
The scripts are licensed under GPL-3 at:
http://www.thomas-krenn.com/en/oss/ipmi-plugin/
A better approach for the long term will be to have separate packages
for each plugin the same way Fedora Linux does.
Thanks
(also note that the homepage was moved to http://nagiosplugins.org)

Unfortunately we will never include 3rd party plugins into the nagios-plugins
source package. If you want to see this software packaged in debian, please
fill a RFP[1] and hopefully anybody will step forward and package it
separately.
With kind regards, Jan.
