I have had Debian squeeze installed on my Lenovo S10 netbook since it was
released as stable. This issue that I am describing with sleep functionality
only started happening in the past week or two. Before that, I did not have a
single problem and everything was working as expected.
Now, whenever I put my laptop to sleep, it will not stay sleeping. It wakes
back up within a few minutes. I usually put it to sleep, close the lid, and
then put it in my laptop case. When I go back to it, I either find that it is
turned on, it has hibernated, or the battery is dead. Previously, I have not
had any of these problems.

Hi there,
It looks like your hard drive is resuming the laptop, please seek for
help in the debian-laptop mailing list, and file another bug once you
come up with the specific problem that is waking your laptop up.
