Package: denyhosts
Severity: normal

denyhosts does not stop the service after running apt-get remove.
This could result in users being locked out of their systems
even after they thought they removed it (this happened to me).

Version: 2.6-4

Every version currently in debian does, in fact, stop the daemon upon
removal of the denyhosts package. I have checked all of the prerm
scripts and tested this to confirm.

If you have more information on what caused this issue or what the issue
was in your specific case, please send them to [email protected]
and I will reopen the bug if appropriate.
