Package: fillets-ng
Version: 0.6.0-1
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/games/fillets

Currently, the only way to enable fullscreen mode is
by using the following command-lne.

$ fillets fullscreen=1

It would be nice if there were an option in the
in-game options menu.

In addition, the advice given by running fillets
with "--help" is not as useful as it could be.

$ fillets --help
[...]
  fullscreen=<boolean>     Turn fullscreen on/off

My first reaction to seeing this was to try
$ fillets fullscreen=on
and when that didn't work, I tried
$ fillets fullscreen=true

It would be nice for fillets to accept a wider
range of options, or modify the help text to
indicate that a numeric 1 or 0 is required.

Thanks!

hi,

i no longer believe this is an issue.

there is a usage example in the manpage ("Default: fullscreen=0"), and
the F11 key is documented, both in the in-game help screen accessed
with F1, as well as in /usr/share/doc/fillets-ng/README.

also all of

fillets fullscreen=true
fillets fullscreen=off
fillets fullscreen=1

work in the current version now.

thanks
fabian
