Package: backup-manager
Version: 0.5.8-2
Severity: normal
With the patch for #315582, an empty file for cdrecord output and a
directory as a temporary mountpoint are created by mktemp.
Backup-manager wants to be a good citizen and deletes these on exit.
That's fine for the directory, but not so good for the cdrecord log,
as it raises the question why the output is logged at all if it is
unconditionally removed before anyone can read it!
I think the cdrecord log should be only be deleted if
(a) it is empty, which means that cdrecord was not run at all, or
(b) burning and verification went ok, in which case it is no longer needed.
In all other cases it should be kept for further reference.
Regards,
Sven Joachim
