Package: gtkpod
Version: 0.72-2-1
Severity: normal
Gtkpod needs libmp4v2 to support AAC. libmp4v2 is part of mpeg4ip which
is available at http://mpeg4ip.sourceforge.net/.
However there are a lot of different licenses and patents in mpeg4ip.
This is still not clear for me if it can be packaged as a whole (and
under main pool or under the contrib pool), or if we need to extract
libmp4v2 from mpeg4ip, or ...
Since it impacts the binary functionnality itself I put this bug
severity as "normal".
I create this bug report to track this issue.

I'm closing this bug report since libmp4v2 is not in Debian due to
license issues and the new gtkpod package can work fine even without it.
Feel free to re-open the bug if this issue is not resolved.
Thanks.
