Subject: dhcp-client-beta: dhclient is not usable when IPv6 is enabled
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
X-Mailer: bug 3.1.7
Package: dhcp-client-beta
Version: 2.0b1pl18-1
When the sit0 device (part of IPv6) is present the dhclient program will not
work. I tried configuring a fixed address for sit0 but it still said that
there was an unknown media type. This is probably a bug that should be
forwarded upstream - dhclient should be able to ignore devices on request.

Hi,
I'm closing this bug report because dhclient currently works fine with sit0
devices. Well, it will still attempt to obtain leases on other interfaces,
it just bleats about the sit0 interface (and I'm looking into fixing this).
regards
Andrew
