Version: 0.99.7-10
Severity: minor

(I'm actually reporting this off jpilot-gtk12 version 0.99.7-10).

When the encoding is switched in file/preferences,
two minor issues of a similar nature happen:
1) the screen doesn't get re-rendered in the new encoding, e.g., in the
"Contacts", one has to select a different category for the change
to have any effect
2) if one has any custom-named fields in the contacts, their names
won't be rendered in the new encoding at all, until jpilot is restarted

IMHO, this is something everybody can live with for quite a while as
the encoding is not changed too often in one's daily routine, and
the restart always helps.

I'm back home and, as promised, I've retested the bug. It no longer
happens on 0.99.7-0.99.8-pre8-1 from stable. As a result, I am happily
using the novel version-based bug closing facility to mark it accordingly.
Thanks a lot for fixing it!

Vassilii
