Package: ccache
Version: 3.1.5-1
Severity: important

Hi!

I'm afraid that ccache will break compilation of anything that specifies the
full name of the compiler ("x86_64-linux-gnu-gcc" rather than "gcc"). It
does still work with non-multiarch ones.

I see that the symlinks in /usr/lib/ccache are missing -- a few days ago
there was x86_64-linux-gnu-g{cc,++} there as well:

lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 c++ -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 c89-gcc -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 c99-gcc -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 cc -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 g++ -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 g++-4.6 -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 gcc -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 gcc-4.6 -> ../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 i386-pc-msdosdjgpp-g++ ->
../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 i386-pc-msdosdjgpp-gcc ->
../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 i386-pc-msdosdjgpp-gcc-4.2.2 ->
../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 i686-w64-mingw32-g++ ->
../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 i686-w64-mingw32-gcc ->
../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 x86_64-w64-mingw32-g++ ->
../../bin/ccache
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    16 May 30 00:36 x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc ->
../../bin/ccache

These symlinks are set by a trigger on /usr/lib/gcc owned by ccache, yet
multiarch gcc doesn't have any files in that directory anymore.

Closes: 630352
Changes:
 ccache (3.1.5-2) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Update dpkg triggers and update-ccache-symlinks to find compilers at
     the new GCC library location. Closes: #630352.
   * Use dh_prep instead of deprecated "dh_clean -k".
   * Move patches to debian directory.
   * Drop obsolete dont_distclean_version.c.patch.
   * Add build-arch and build-indep targets as hinted by lintian.
