First of all, I note that this bug has been used for two unrelated
SQLite issues. It was originally a duplicate filing of Bug #608925,
fixed in 1.6.12dfsg-4.

SQLite upstream figured it out; it's a bug in 3.7.7. I've linked to
the explanation and fix over in Bug #631736.

Closing this bug now. I could work around it in Subversion, but the
workaround would be shortlived, as I expect sqlite3 will be fixed
shortly. If you need a workaround, downgrade sqlite3 back to 3.7.6.x.
