Package: jabref
Version: 2.7~beta1+ds-4
Severity: normal

I want to automatically link files with double extensions, such as
*.ps.gz

Options -> Preferences -> External programs -> [*] Use Regular Expression
Search [**/[bibtexkey].*\\.[extension](.gz)?]

does that. But I don't get the viewer defined for it through the
"Manage external file types". I tried the entry

  Name: PostScript compressed
  Extension: ps.gz
  Mime Type: application/postscript
  Application: gv

but jabref keeps complaining that the file type of my *.ps.gz files is
undefines. I also tried

  Extension: "ps.gz"

but it didn't work. As a workaround I use

  Extension: gz

Any ideas how to fix this? It would be great if you could add a
comment on that in the documentation.

Best regards,

Josef.
