Package: boo
Severity: important

In debian/rules the call of dh_makeclilibs is done without any
parameters, this means the dependencies in the clilibs will be
unversioned for boo. This is ok for ABI/API stable libraries, but boo
isn't ABI/API stable. 0.5.5 to 0.5.6 broke at least ABI (monodevelop-boo
had to be recompiled), so please use either -V or even better control
the version strictness yourself like we do in the Gtk#2 (source package:
gtk-sharp-2-unstable).
We set >=3D 0.0.x, << 0.0.x+1 as dependency for Gtk#2 (using -m and -l of
dh_makeclilibs), take a look at debian/rules if you like, it shows how
we generated that data automatic.

PS: I suggest to join pkg-mono/non-group, it's a special part of
pkg-mono for helping and supporting Mono related programs/libraries,
using the resource of alioth (SVN/mailing list/webpage etc).
If you are interested please join #debian-mono on freenode
