If my only activity consists of using the "scrollwheel" of my touchpad (which I
do for example when reading a large web page in my browser) then xscreensaver
locks the screen after a few minutes. If instead I am typing or moving the
"mouse"
cursor of my touchpad, xscreensaver recognizes the activity and does not lock.
So the problem is that xscreensaver does not recognize the use of the
scrollwheel
as activity.
