Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

Package: wget
I completely agree. The result of 'man wget' is not useful at all when you are
used to the old manpage. I tend to use curl nowadays, just because it’s
reasonably documented.
So, what is the rationale behind this change? Can you revert it please? :)
