Package: awstats
Version: 5.6-2
Severity: important

sporadicly, awstats -update segfaults. Mostly this happens, if it is run
by awstats-update. I tried to put a "print "Hello Bug";" at the begining
of awstats.pl, but it doesn't even show, the segfault happens before it
gets to printing this message. It's definitely awstats.pl, wich crashes,
since awstats-update continues to run. The access.log-format ist "combined".
There doesn't seem to be a configuration-problem, since the results are
correct in the runs wich don't crash, wich is the case for 80% of the time.
I'm using sarge.

Hi,

I am closing this bug, as it is for a very old version of awstats, was
not reproducible, and no further information was provided.

If after updating to the current version of awstats you still experience
similar behavior, please don't hesitate to repon the bug report. :-)

thanks,
Charles
