Package: alarm-clock-applet
Version: 0.3.1-1
Severity: important

If I select preference and then change the only preference listed
(that is I deselect that the program should start automatically)
the program hangs and then crashes.

If launched from a terminal window the following output appears

-*-*- start of excerpt from terminal window

** (alarm-clock-applet:3939): DEBUG: Preferences: Autostart is TRUE
** (alarm-clock-applet:3939): DEBUG: Preferences: Autostart DISABLE!

** (alarm-clock-applet:3939): WARNING **: Preferences: Could not copy
'/usr/share/applications/alarm-clock-applet.desktop' to user config dir: Error
opening file '/home/myuser/.config/autostart/alarm-clock-applet.desktop': No
such file or directory

(alarm-clock-applet:3939): GLib-WARNING **: GError set over the top of a
previous GError or uninitialized memory.
This indicates a bug in someone's code. You must ensure an error is NULL before
it's set.
The overwriting error message was: No such file or directory

-*-*- end of excerpt from terminal window

I have ckecked my home directory and I found out that ~/.config exists
but ~/.config/autostart/ does not

After creating the directory ~/.config/autostart/
the preference could be changed

(I still have a very big amuont of debug information on the terminal screen or
tin the .xsession-errors file. It would be useful if it could be selected if
this debug information should be shown or not)
