Hi Listmasters

Please create a new list for announcements to stable-updates and
calls for testing of packages in proposed-updates.

Name: debian-stable-announce

Rationale: Starting with the release of squeeze we will push some updates in
proposed-updates to the users via stable-updates sooner than the next point
release. We also want to use the list to get more testing of packages in
proposed-updates by sending calls for testing to this list.

Short description: Announcements of updates to stable

Long description: Updates to stable packages will be announced on this
list.

Category: Users

Subscription Policy: open

Post Policy: moderated (release team)

Web Archive: yes

Cheers

Luk

Hm,

I created this list some time ago, but it seems I forgot to close the bug.
Doing this now.
