Package: mrtg
Version: 2.10.13-1
Severity: normal

It would be more consistent if the naming of the programs would
be kept withing the bounds of package. For example there is program

        cfgmaker

but the name selected is unfortunate. How can people tell that it belongs
to mrtg?

It would be better if programs belonging to package somehow used the package
prefix:

        mrtg            => mrtg
        cfgmaker        => mrtg-cfgmaker
        rateup          => mrtg-rateup
        indexmaker      => mrtg-indexmaker

Sorry it took so long for a reply. mrtg is one of the most known tool
for monitoring, and tons of doc on the web refers to it and to its
tool, callong them cfgmaker, idxmaker and so on, so while I understand
your position and I'm also in favor to it, I won't let Debian diverge
from that . Closing.

Regards,
