Lenny is no longer under development, so this issue really belongs on
the backports mailing list. You can contemplate asking kindly for
someone to work on a lenny backport at [0], but it's doubtful anyone
has an interest in supporting chromium on such an old release anymore.
Or you could move to squeeze and build/use my squeeze chromium backport:
