Severity: important
If you install rate-engine along with asterisk but do not configure a mysql
server, asterisk will segfault after the first SIP call is hung
up. It took me quite a while to track this down, but I can repeat this
behaviour on testing and unstable systems. Since rate-engine is
a suggested package when installing asterisk, this probably will end up
confusing other users. I can provide core files if needed, and
I'm willing to help in other ways to get this bug fixed. For myself I have
just uninstalled the rate-engine package and now asterisk works
correctly.
