The mkchroot.sh script (supposed to install all the necessary executables and
libraries in
the chroot enviroment for the need of rssh) doesn't check for the dependencies
of the
/lib/libnss_* libraries. As a consequence the libnsl.so.1 (needed for
libnss_compat.so)
is missing. One is supposed to install it manually. In my opinion this should
be fixed
in the script or at least it should be mentioned in the documentation
(CHROOT.gz).

$ ldd libnss_compat-2.11.2.so
        linux-vdso.so.1 =>  (0x00007fff9a678000)
        libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x00007fb943a2e000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00007fb9436cd000)
        /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007fb943e54000)

If it helps, I can send you the patch for the script to fix it.

Regards, Matej.

Oh, wait, sorry, this is already fixed in unstable. I forgot that I took
care of that a while back.

This isn't serious enough to do a stable point update, I think. I could
prepare a backport for backports.debian.org, but I haven't done that since
I wasn't sure if the impact was large enough to warrant it and the
previous reporter didn't need it. I can take a look at that if that would
help you, though.
