When running freeciv-client-sdl using a video mode of 1024x600, the
options required to start the game are hidden behind the bottom pannel
in gnome.
Hiding both pannels _just_ manages to create enough room for the window.

The SDL client is running fine in a 640x480 window on my laptop, so i
assume this bug is now resolved - someone with a small device please
reopen this if thats not the case.
