As a consequence of the upgrade of dovecot, I discovered that my working
configuration no longer worked. This is partly because the GSSAPI
functionality was split out into a separate package without any
notification. It took me quite a bit of time to realize that there was
now a new package for GSSAPI functionality, partly because the
dovecot-imapd package gave me no indication at all that this new package
existed.
Since systems that use GSSAPI used to function fine with dovecot-imapd
and dovecot-common no longer do, I think dovecot-imapd should Suggest or
Recommend dovecot-gssapi.
