Package: svn-buildpackage
Version: 0.6.7
Severity: minor

Hi,

in the tetex packages (experimental version), as well as in others (like
auctex), debian/rules is a generated file (in this case, from
debian/rules.in). If debian/rules is out of date with respect to
rules.in, it is regenerated in the clean target, and after that
svn-buildpackage complains:

E: Resolve them manually before continueing

E: found unresolved issues:=20

 M debian/rules

But this will and must always be the case in this setup. On the other
hand, debian/rules is the only generated file that cannot simply be
removed by clean and/or ignored by svn, for obvious reasons.

I do not want to specifiy --svn-dont-clean or --svn-ignore-new,
because I generally do want to make use of these features of
svn-buildpackage, just not for debian/rules. It seems we need an
additional configuration option --ignore-new-file=3D"<list of files>",
conveniently specified in a per-project configuration file,
e.g. .svn/deb-layout. But for me, this is more than a wishlist bug - it
simply doesn't work out of the box, and I would have to disable cleaning
or checking for uncommited changes.

TIA, Frank
