When the gnome-panel crashes (try with killall gnome-panel), xchat is
killed too. Other programs like rhythmbox just readd their icon when the
panel reappears.
According to someone on irc, the problem is eggtrayicon. A new version
is available in gnome cvs. But I don't know if that's causing this
problem.
