Package: greed

Did your greed exist as a Debian package much before it appeared in
"testing"? Its name is a complete pain because it's reinstalling itself
over what I know as greed
(http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~owend/free/GREED.html) which has been
package for Debian with that name for ages now. How did your package get
named "greed" in Debian without this conflict being discovered earlier? A
quick Google would have done it.

I don't suppose there's any chance of renaming the package, is there? Or
has it also been a Debian package called greed for quite some time before
appearing in "testing" recently?
