Subject: dselect messes up the description of fortunes-eo
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Package: fortunes-eo
Version: 20020729-1
Severity: minor
Running in Unicode mode on the console, with LC_ALL=en_US.utf-8, with
locales properly defined, the description for fortunes-eo looks like
it's been run through a UTF-8 to Latin-1 to UTF-8 converter somewhere on
the way. Given the current state of charsets in Debian, and the
potential for problems with the translated packages, why don't you just
use the x-metodo?

dselect is UTF-8 friendly already for some time, and more packages
with non-ascii descriptions (and other fields, like authors' names)=20
appeared, therefore it is time to close this bug.
