When apt-listchanges has shown the changes window and is asking for
confirmation,
there are warnings about rejected authentication.
Typing the answer anyway seems to be OK.
See the following example log of upgrading 'bc':

Please correct synaptic to avoid these 'apt-listchanges' and 'debconf' warnings.
These warnings do not happen wnen installing by means of 'apt-get'.
