Hi!

I tried to repackage

   http://www.grame.fr/~letz/jack-1.9.8.tgz

with cdbs (get-orig-source), but all the excludes end up in the tarball.

>From debian/rules:

DEB_UPSTREAM_PACKAGE = jack
DEB_UPSTREAM_URL = http://www.grame.fr/~letz/
DEB_UPSTREAM_TARBALL_EXTENSION = tgz

# unneeded and possibly sourceless binaries
DEB_UPSTREAM_REPACKAGE_EXCLUDES += ./windows/**.Lib ./windows/**.lib
./windows/**.dll
DEB_UPSTREAM_REPACKAGE_EXCLUDES += ./macosx/*.a

# unneeded sources copyright-protected without licence
DEB_UPSTREAM_REPACKAGE_EXCLUDES += ./windows/**.rc

# pure garbage in upstream tarball
DEB_UPSTREAM_REPACKAGE_EXCLUDES += .DS_Store

# a doc directory with PDFs and doxygen
DEB_UPSTREAM_REPACKAGE_EXCLUDES += ./doc/*

Is the pattern wrong? Have a look at src:jackd2-1.9.7~dfsg-* to see that
it doesn't work.

Cheers

I just tried and cannot reproduce.

As we just noticed: upstream has added an additional subdirectory.

Closing the bug now, mea culpa.

Cheers
