Package: autofs
Version: 4.1.4+debian-2+b1
Severity: important

Doesn't mount directories when /etc/mtab is a symlink to /proc/mounts -- as it should be on a read only root file system. Is autofs not designed to handle this special case? It would mount with -n option if /etc/mtab is a symlink.
