Severity: normal

This package is using some functions which are marked deprecated in
newer versions of GnuTLS (>=2.12.x). (They are not yet removed, though.)
These functions will be removed in future releases. GnuTLS 2.12.x is
already available in experimental.
Excerpt from buildlog:
====================================================
tcp.cpp:220:3: warning: 'int gnutls_kx_set_priority(gnutls_session_int*, const
int*)' is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/gnutls/compat.h:342)
tcp.cpp:220:52: warning: 'int gnutls_kx_set_priority(gnutls_session_int*, const
int*)' is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/gnutls/compat.h:342)
====================================================
The gnutls_*_set_priority family of functions has been marked deprecated
in 2.12.x. These functions have been superceded by
gnutls_priority_set_direct(). The replacement function was added in gnutls
stable release 2.2.0 (released 2007-12-14).

* Made rabid get the password right when -u is used. Thanks to Lars Nordin
for the patch.
* Made rabid correctly check for the '.' at the end of the results of the
list command.
* Made all the programs correctly handle a userlist that has empty lines.
* Use the -lgcrypt option when using gcrypt.
* Only call gcry_control() if GNUTLS_VERSION_NUMBER <= 0x020b00
* Ignore blank lines in user list.
* Add subject, date, and msgid to the md5sum in the client.
Closes: #611907
* Stop using gnutls_kx_set_priority()
Closes: #624038
* Added a patch from Michael Brown <[email protected]> to make an RPM
build
on RHEL5 (and probably other RPM systems).
* Added a patch from Brad Hards <[email protected]> to fix typos in the
man page.
* Rewrote a lot of the md5 checking code, now the md5 hash is stored in a
header. It should work now.
