noticed it in the BTS.

Recommending egrep does not make sense here since egrep(1) is part of
the grep package, which is "Priority: required", so it should exist on
every Debian system.

agrep is part of the non-free archive, so it isn't available to users,
that only use "main".  To not bug them too much, I downgraded this
dependency from "Recommends" to "Suggests" and documented all this in
the package description.

So everybody can use egrep(1) and those users, that use non-free
software are able to switch to agrep(1).

In conclusion, I don't think that this is a bug and close this bug
report.
