Forgot the Closes on this in 2.5.4:

  * checks/fields{,.desc}:
    [...]
    + [NT] Newlines from URIs in Vcs-* fields are stripped before they
      are checked.  These will fields will also cause a "multiline-
      field" tag if they contain newlines.
