Package: language-env
Version: 0.57.2
Severity: wishlist
Gtk2 now uses UTF-8 as default language encoding. It couses several
errors in non-UTF-8 system.
I suggest that language-env should add following entry for non-UTF-8
system.
====================================
export G_FILENAME_ENCODING="@locale"
export G_BROKEN_FILENAMES="@locale"
====================================
So far I understand, these entry enable to use locale-specified encoding
instead of UTF-8.
Regards.
